The Original TIGER, Marion founded the TIGER Initiative and continues to guide, tirelessly support, and inspire its multiple transformational activities.

 

Internationally known and an editor of the Springer Health Informatics series, Dr. Ball has been a pioneer in health informatics. An early advocate of patient-centered, interdisciplinary care, she has long championed the role of nursing in the delivery of high-quality care. She has edited and authored multiple books and articles on nursing informatics. She was a key figure in launching the TIGER Initiative and continues to guide and inspire its multiple transformational activities.

Teresa McCasky, RN, MBA

Chief Nursing Strategist

McKesson Provider Technologies

 

Teresa McCasky is Chief Nursing Strategist for McKesson, establishing the vision for nursing solutions development that will meet the real world clinical and workflow requirements in healthcare organizations. McCasky has over 17 years experience with healthcare information technology solutions providers. She was instrumental in obtaining the first Nursing Information & Data Set Evaluation Center (NIDSEC) certification for McKesson’s nursing documentation solution. McCasky’s clinical background includes physician office, home care, long-term care, adult medical-surgical and pediatric intensive care.

 

Ms. McCasky has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Northern Colorado and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver.

 

Teresa is also Board Certified in Informatics and is a national speaker on topics such as nursing informatics, bar coding and medication management system in reducing medical errors, and disease management.

 

Jeanine Martin

Microsoft Corporation

US Provider Healthcare Industry

 

Jeanine has more than 10 years of healthcare IT experience, working primarily with executive leadership teams to develop healthcare IT strategies at some of the largest healthcare provider groups in the country. Jeanine has also held instrumental roles in Microsoft’s 5-Year Strategic Planning Committee-Global Healthcare Provider Industry and Microsoft-Healthcare User Group Advisory Committee-Microsoft Liaison to MS-HUG. In addition, Jeanine formed Microsoft’s National Clinical Council.

 

Jeanine has taken a leadership and founding role at numerous professional organizations, including Past President, AITP (Assoc of IT Professionals-TN Chapter), Past President, WITI (Women in Technology Intl-TN Chapter), Founding President, WiTT (Women in Tech of TN), Founding Officer, TN HIMSS Chapter and Co-Founder, NHIT Summit.
